Summary of Essential Responsibilities:
- Read, analyze and interpret isometric drawings and develop equipment requirements from supplied drawings
- Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product
- Layout, measure and mark materials to display placement of cuts
- Operate cold cutting/split frame equipment
- Control and regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut
- Calibrate and document all associated gauges and measuring equipment
- Perform field machinist operations including, line boring, flange facing, cold cutting, torqueing and coring
Minimum Requirements:
- Journeyperson Machinist or Apprentice an asset
- Non-ticketed individuals w/ field machinist experience will be considered
- Minimum 3 years of field machining experience
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to pass pre-employment alcohol, drug test (including marijuana)
- Valid safety tickets including: CSTS, WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO
- Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License
