TDG is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to look after Car Dealership Accounts and Canadian Tire stores for a territory in Southwestern Ontario. If you are a team player, motivated, have the desire to achieve, then consider this opportunity with Tire Discounter Group.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Excellent follow up, and execution skills
  • Proven track record and work experience as a sales representative
  • Familiarity with Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Car Dealer and alloy wheel experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Comprehension of the Canadian market and the channels of distribution
  • Openness to feedback


  • Initiate, plan, implement, and manage sales strategies for existing and potential accounts and new business
  • Prospect the market for potential new business and customers
  • Provide direct sales service to existing customers and recommend other products
  • Project management including maintaining the lines of communication between sales, operations, credit, purchasing, and customer service
  • Forecast annual sales volume by account and potential new business and accountable for profit and loss
  • Manage annual pre-approved budget
  • Plan and deliver customer presentations
  • Participate in promotional events and opportunities
  • Gather current market information and competitor trends and opportunities.
  • Deliver quotations
  • Provide weekly progress reports to the National Account Manager at TDG
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations
  • Internal consultation on customer related issues (i.e. product performance)
