SUMMARY OF TASKS:
Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Brandon Plant. Under the responsibility of the Production Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the supervision of the employees in his department, as well as operations, to ensure the conformity and quality of the production processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide leadership, training and guidance to production employees;
? Ensure the efficiency of the production;
? Ensure the health and safety within the work environment;
? Develop the teams, promote the continuous improvement and improve the existing practices;
? Effectively use daily production reports to track cost, measure trends, communicate and initiate
corrective action when necessary;
? Participate actively in quality control, implement and revise company policies and government legislations;
? Ensures the Company’s quality and sanitation standards are met through close liaison with Quality Control, and full participation in HACCP, BRC and GMP
? Communicate with the Maintenance Department to maximize machine efficiencies;
? Maintain work areas with cleanliness and organization at all times
? Take lead role in communication to all staff for Crew talks every shift
? Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
? (2 to 4) years of supervision experience preferably related to the food industry sector;
? Post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset;
? Proficient in computer application (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
? Possess great leadership, management skills
? Support and apply team work and its development;
? Excellent communication skills to all areas of the plant
? Must be available to work shift work, holidays, and weekends, on call
