This role is the foundation of the department and has the potential to grow into a management position within the next 1 year. The successful candidate has the potential to make large amounts of money with no commission caps. The ideal candidate must be confident, have great presentation skills, and understands that great relationships are built in person and over the phone or sending emails. Once settled into the role, the successful candidate will be tasked with hiring additional sales staff to report to them. Job Description

The primary goal for this role is to spread awareness of the GP365 product to every Microsoft Dynamics GP customer in Canada and USA. Collaborate with the marketing team to target GP users and interest them enough to be part of our community and product offering. The Business Development Specialist will report to the Vice President of Business Development.


  • Familiar with software sales, SaaS selling or solution selling
  • 3+ years in a sales role
  • Familiar with CRM
  • Experience in creating urgency
  • Experience making cold calls and reaching out to prospects
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and ability to work in a busy environment
  • Professional, reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Enjoy meeting people and presenting webinars

Job Duties

  • Cold calling and reaching out to candidates
  • Setting up a meeting to demo the product
  • Conducting product demos once comfortable
  • Creating and executing strategic plans to penetrate accounts
  • Cross selling service opportunities
