This position is best suited to a highly motivated QA specialist to assist us in delivering exceptional software quality through QA best practices and automation. The QA specialist will work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to understand product requirements, architecture and technology, and to improve testability and defect prevention.


  • Develop and maintain a library of test plans and test cases.
  • Configure and execute manual and automated test scripts.
  • Perform load, performance and security testing.
  • Identify and report software defects using our issue tracking system.


  • 3-5 years of experience with web and mobile application testing
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jmeter.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
  • Familiar with Agile software development methodology.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills; this job requires a great deal of interfacing with developers and product managers
  • Degree or diploma in computer science or software engineering or equivalent.
  • Personal attributes most valued: positivity and enthusiasm, can-do attitude, flexibility and organization, clear communication skills
  • Proficient with JIRA Issue Tracking Software.


  • Experience with customer support / knowledge base software e.g., Freshdesk.
  • Experience with creating and delivering customer facing help materials.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy sector or similar field/equipment related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
