We have an immediate opportunity for a Contracts Delivery Operations Coordinator for Airbus Canada, located in Mirabel, Quebec, where you will be responsible to support the delivery of aircraft to customers and other related delivery activities.

Description of the job

Reporting operationally to the H/O Contractual & Commercial Delivery in Mirabel, as well as reporting functionally to the H/O Contracts Delivery Operations Airbus, this person shall support the delivery planning, customer reporting and presentations, as well as the oversight and control of the Commercial Contracts Operational governance by being responsible for the management and evolution of the Delivery KPI's, Contracts Review schedules, communications and all related performance reports. In addition, this person will be responsible for our Digital Tools and Cost Analysis, as well as Technical Delivery Documentations.

As a key contributor you will assist the Sales Contracts and Legal, as well as the Operations organisation in its development and execution of its respective Commercial governance, reporting requirements, cross-functional harmonisation using new develop format and tools. This person will act as Process Operational Coordinator Representative for the Mirabel Contracts and Delivery Team.

In your role you will :
Digital Tools & Cost Analysis

Digital tools

Act as a focal point for digital tools development for A220 and liaise with Contract Delivery Cost Analysis and Digital Tools (Airbus);
Work closely with Airbus Canada IT team to ensure adherence with the IT roadmap approved by the steering committee;
Identify opportunities to increase our digital footprint, blocking points and escalate issues, as well as contribute to successful entry into service of digital tools and provide Business support after entry into service;
The candidate will be responsible to train his/her colleagues at Airbus Canada on the use of our digital tools.
Cost Analysis

Provide support to Commitment Letter negotiation and cost controlling;
Establish the costing activity for A220 by identifying relevant source of information, creating a network of information, build up a reference cost database;
Provide costing information and perform Business case in coordination with central costing team in Toulouse;
Analyse main A220 Commitment letters cost drivers and raise them to Programs and Quality;
Support to Commitment Letter follow-up : set a robust commitment letter follow-up process for A220 (in collaboration with ADEs and Customer Support).
Technical Delivery Documentation

Establishes standard delivery documentation lists per aircraft programs, taking into consideration what is required as mandatory documents by regulations and by POA (Production agreement) and also what Airbus considers as essential for customers;
Harmonizes Delivery Documentation process across Delivery Centers.

Act as Process Operational Manager Representative (POMP) in SE.CA.03 process, representing Contracts Delivery Mirabel;
The candidate will support the Process Integration at Airbus Canada and facilitate the changes across teams.
In addition, the selected candidate will be asked to work in collaboration with co-workers in:

Harmonise Delivery and Operations Governance calendar;
Instigate and implement new Governance forum, establish new Contracts Operational KPIs and build new flexible tools to help manage the deliverables;
Support the Director in chairing the Review Meetings by setting agenda, gathering and preparing information package, capturing actions/decisions & follow-up, and participating at meetings;
Interface with all functional departments about Contractual and delivery commitments and deliverables with emphasis on key performance indicators (KPI's).


As ou ideal candidate,

You have computer literacy skills presentation, MS Project, and report writing;
You demonstrate capability in the use MS Access database and Airbus DIP platform would be an asset;
You have some technical knowledge in aircraft development and understanding of aircraft operations and contract would be an asset;
You have strong interpersonal skills are mandatory a high degree of interaction with internal and core functional teams will be required to follow different initiatives;
You have a degree in Business or equivalent with 5 years' experience is required;
You have team spirit: capable of consensus and adhering to the agreed action plan;
You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, sometimes under short deadlines with a high diversity of work scope. Day to day requirements is not very predictable;
You are a result oriented individual, comfortable with providing solutions;
You are resourceful and perseverance capable of finding the needed data/sources of information, comfortable with independent research and collaborative effort.
