Minimum Qualifications
3 years relevant experience in Warehouse supervision
Ability to manage deadlines
Experience managing performance, process improvement and sortation technology
Ability to prioritize tasks and obtain results with minimal supervision
Essential Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills
Enforce all health and safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge of or interest in understanding VITAL fully
RF experience in a VITAL or Manhattan WMS environment
Certified Forklift Operator with reputable education in Forklift Operation
Knowledge in scheduling and man power planning to effectively handle necessary requirements of the day to day operations
Knowledge of warehousing, retail distribution processes and quality control
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments staffing and customers
Competent with legislation, regulations, codes, standards and guidelines in respect to Health and Safety
Interested in generating ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes
Ability to work under time constraints while still recognizing the importance of inventory accuracy
Willingness to work in other departments as required
Ability to be flexible with work schedule
Self-Motivated.
Responsibilities
Measure key performance indicators and seek ways to improve process
Manage fluctuating number of employees in ECOM
Analyze daily work load and prioritize staff accordingly
Ensure company procedures as well as Health and Safety are adhered to and enforced
Review employee training required and ensure training is conducted and recorded
Provide regular feedback to staff and keep them informed on applicable issues
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings with ECOM Staff
Ensure Pre-shift inspections are complete on all Material Handling Equipment prior to beginning of shift
Maintain operational input of productivity input sheets and verify integrity of information
Provide high level of internal and external customer service
Ensure employee absenteeism is monitored. Provide discipline/coaching as required.
Ensure the planning of the day to day requirements for manpower match the planning and productivity requirements
Ensure Lead is consistently enforcing ECOM SOP’s as required
Promote a clean and safe working environment by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, reporting discrepancies, and recommending corrective action to ensure safety in the warehouse
Ensure security of opening and closing of the ECOM gates
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Senior Shift Supervisor
