BMW Toronto is looking for a passionate Creative Specialist to join the team! The Creative Specialist is an entry-level position that will be an active member of a fast-paced, in-house marketing and communications team. The team is specifically responsible for creating and coordinating the production of marketing and sales materials for the Quinn Automotive Group. Job description

  • Designing various marketing, communication and promotional materials, including brochures, web advertisements, posters, in-store displays, and digital ads
  • Develop marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content (copywriting, editing and proofreading)
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest product and brand information and applying to various mediums
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of multiple dealership websites (graphics and content)
  • Provide assistance in terms of logistics in organizing company events and sponsorships and coordinate vehicle displays
  • Plan, design, and execute internal and external promotional materials such as POS, display banners, flyers, direct mail, eNewsletters, eBlasts, and additional requests from the marketing manager or general managers
  • Acquire content, write and design monthly eNewsletters, eBlasts and blog posts
  • Liaise with external suppliers, media companies, and media vendors
  • Prepare press releases and event announcements
  • Design advertising as well as negotiating and buying ad space in local media
  • Monitor and measure the success of digital campaigns and website traffic
  • Adhere to corporate brand guidelines and enforce brand image consistency
  • Act as a main liaison with Parts, Service, New Vehicles, and Pre-Owned managers with regards to sales events, promotions, sponsorships, and contests
Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree or certificate in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field with strong knowledge of marketing practices
  • Strong design portfolio or samples of creative work
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Excellent copywriting skills and ability to craft a message for a specific audience
  • Ability to apply theories related to color schemes, use of space, text placement, usability and visual flow
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ensures high quality to the execution of all work
  • Possess keen eye for detail
  • Proactive in bringing new ideas, strategies, and designs forward
  • Photography and video experience is an asset
Salary Range: Full-time $30,000 - $35,000
