SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER POSITION

The Account Manager promotes the sale of products and services to new and existing customers, as well as retains and grows the business with existing customers, all within assigned territories. This position requires the candidate to position themselves in good standing within those assigned territories so as to exhibit noticeable growth of the business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Candidate promotes and maximizes the sale of hardware and related software and services to clients in an assigned geographic region of Quebec.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with local engineering consulting and contractor firms.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting using CRM system
  • Maintains high level of customer satisfaction through a trusting, supportive relationship.
  • Coordinates new product/service introductions and maintains current knowledge on newest products and services as well as those of our competitors.
  • Coordinates local product seminars/webinars/training for assigned customers as applicable. Presents new or existing products to internal management.
  • Has the ability to accurately forecast future sales, budgets and will be involved in the business planning process.
  • Exercises sound judgment with their daily, company-related expenditures.
  • Maintains detailed customer files.
  • Attends local industry trade shows.
  • Performs other duties, as relative and applicable.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

  • Dependent upon the assigned territory, 5 to 10 business days per month.
  • Mandatory attendance at 2 annual Sales Meeting – one Canadian, one U.S.

MANDATORY

  • Must be Fluent in French and have a very strong comprehension and verbal proficiency in English
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortable in all audience settings is imperative.
  • Sales personality and appropriate social skills requisite with cultivating and maintaining working relationships with customers at all levels is desired.
  • Detail oriented and multi-tasking ability.
  • Strong Technical Aptitude
  • Must be able to travel throughout Canada and the U.S.

SALARY

  • Base salary 75K + Monthly Commission with a total O.T.E. of approximately $105-110K
  • Car allowance $850/month + gas expenses

Salary: $110,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Technical Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Outside Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
