Everclean is hiring a full time Account Manager at our corporate headquarters in Burnaby, BC.

Duties:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, markets and clients to support Everclean’s growth with an emphasis on value added client relationships, identifying and capitalizing on custodial market trends.

Everclean requires an Account Manager with robust people and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining marketing partners. Additionally, they will:

  • Increase monthly sales revenue
  • Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure that requirements are met
  • Possess a strong understanding of our business lines, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing and potential clients
  • Update client information in the company contact database and sales tracker spreadsheet on a daily basis

Qualifications:

  • 5 years sales/business development experience, experience in custodial or facility management operations is an asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to create compelling documents and Request for Proposals (RFPs) that create a competitive advantage
  • Must understand how daily targets lead to weekly, monthly and annual goals, and have the drive to meet these daily and periodic targets
  • Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
  • Ability to manage expenses and a budget
  • Ability to report key performance indicators to diverse stakeholders, in a clear and concise manner
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a natural service-oriented approach
  • Strong work ethic and good record of attendance
  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software
