Cafeteria Style Food Service – Customer Service, Cash, Food Prep, Cleaning, Food Safety, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza

Are you seeking an entry level position to grow with one of the Leaders In the Food Service Industry?

We currently have opening for General Help Food Service Associates to work at one of our Cafeterias in North York (near Dufferin and Wilson)

General Help Associates will be responsible for the following aspects of the customer service experience:

Receiving and stocking food, supplies, and inventory.
Ensures that all food handling practices and systems comply with industry-regulated food safety standards and that food safety is treated as a priority in all activities
Prepare and Serve hot and cold beverages at our Tim Hortons
Assisting in cold/hot preparation and service of foods (such as sandwiches, Pizza, bagels etc)
Maintaining proper product stock in the cooler.
Washing dishes and post meal prep and clean up.
Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner to all levels any problems, progress and changes in policies and procedures.
Promotes and maintains the Quality Assurance Health and Safety Program Qualifications
Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding and customer-centric environment.

Hourly Wage: 14/hour

Shifts : Saturday 5:30-1:30 pm

Qualifications

Able to clear a criminal records check
Detail oriented; strong organizational skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
Good customer service orientation with previously demonstrated customer service experience.
Good command of English language, both verbal and written; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Excellent problem solving and basic math skills.
Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant or fast food considered an asset.
Food Safety Level 1 Certification is an asset.
