A career in our Financial Instruments, Valuation and Governance practice, within Financial Markets Business Advisory services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients’ complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.
Our team helps organisations with highly specialised transaction and valuation investments in the real estate capital markets. We focus on helping our clients become more comfortable in all areas of the real estate investment process by providing extensive market analysis through both econometric and statistical research.
What you’ll create and do
As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:
Providing audit support and advisory services
Completing and leading engagements
Identifying and measurement of financial risk
Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations for our clients
Creating financial models using various programs
Writing proposals, reports, and presentations
Using feedback and reflection to develop self awareness, personal strengths and address development areas
Coaching others and encourage them to take ownership of their development.
Reviewing your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance
Using straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing others
Reading situations and modify behavior to build quality, diverse relationships
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
What you’ll bring to this role:
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
4+ years of experience with financial derivatives modeling or credit loss forecasting/stress testing/capital models
4+ years of experience in consulting or client facing role
3+ years of experience with creating financial models utilizing strong programming skills in C++, Python, Visual Basic, Matlab
Master's degree in Mathematical Finance, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering or similar quantitative discipline
Preferred PRM, FRM, or CFA designation
Experience with modeling interest rate, FX, equity or credit risk
Extensive knowledge with pricing
Superior quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to develop strong business development skills
Strong project management and leadership skills
Bilingual French strongly preferred
This role requires minimum 20% of travel
