As the VP, Growth, you will drive growth across the entire organization. You will be responsible to create, inspire, and execute initiatives across 4 main areas of the business: sales, account management, ecommerce, and marketing. We are breaking new barriers in conversion not just for our e-commerce business’ but for our partners too. You will push for success across our entire eco-system and on individual ventures within the organization.
Your main responsibilities are:
Vendor Account Management
Define and build team roadmap, including individual KPS’s to ensure the success of our partners, and our team members
Build relationships with senior management at key partnership organizations in an effort to pursue further growth opportunities
Partner with internal teams, including marketing, to execute high impact marketing campaigns and effective collateral
Collaborate with our internal product and development teams to define initiatives that can expand volume and growth
Cross training with other Cymax Group teams to ensure maximum sales potential
Proactively determine barriers to customer satisfaction, define, propose and implement solutions
Work with Vendors to continually increase profitability and improve processes that impact customer service.
Proactively work with vendors and Suppliers to reduce shipping claims and increase profit margins.
Support and champion ecommerce excellence for both our web as well as marketplace business lines
Work with Director, Ecommerce to identify new opportunities for growth
Define the strategy which outlines how these capabilities should be applied within marketing brand teams
Lead the building and development of digital and capabilities for creating, measuring and implementing connected, multichannel plans and content strategies
Provide guidance on use of capabilities to business leaders by leveraging a consumer-centric approach which aligns with both consumer needs and business needs
Provide thought leadership by continuously learning about new advances in digital strategy and execution
Lead a team of digital capability, social/experiential marketing and content development specialists to develops ready-to-use tools, digital assets and content which can be easily leveraged by marketing brand teams in applying marketing strategy by channel, by unit, and across our entire eco-system
Define the Cymax Group standard in digital and key performance indicators to demonstrate its return on investment and ability to help guide marketing decisions
Provide guidance to ensure digital assets deliver the desired user experience, are optimally executed
Define and manage the key success metrics for a successful B2B sales team
Work with Senior Management team in order to ensure KPI’s are enforceable and attainable
Work with B2B Manager to build a strong sales pipeline year-round
Identify new areas of growth for the B2B business
Build relationships with outside organizations to increase our visibility and the success rate of our sales bids

Understand the competitive landscape to anticipate trends and to position the company to efficiently apply digital ideas and initiatives ahead of competitors
Develop and communicate a clear vision for the team within the context of the organizations’ overall strategy and goals
Constructively challenge status quo thinking and assumptions, while providing an environment which cultivates experimentation, nurtures fresh perspectives, and sparks innovative ideas
Apply broad knowledge and seasoned experience when addressing complex issues, taking into account all critical information when making team decisions
Understand the impact of global trends on the organization’s plans, revenue, and profit to make significant contributions to regional strategic decisions
Promote ideas and proposals persuasively both internally and externally, acting as a champion and spokesperson for the team
Management and development of team
Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect reports to inspire high performance and professional growth
Working knowledge within an ecommerce landscape
Several years’ experience working in high-growth, technology focused organizations
Data driven, with exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills
Proven experience mentoring, building, and leading high performing teams
Experience scaling software companies of varying sizes
Enjoyment in rolling up sleeves to develop strategies and tactics that will lead rapid (profitable) growth, maximize value, and enhance performance
Excellent communicator with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and vision with clients and partners, as well as internal teams
