Our growing public accounting practice is looking for energetic, hard-working, skilled and dependable Marketing and office assistant to join our team. The candidate must have experience in administrative, receptionist and marketing duties and exhibit the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Along with an aptitude for providing excellent customer service to our clients, the responsibilities of duties include:

  • Acts as the first point of contact for the public in person at the office and by phone
  • Performing Receptionist duties - answering phones, emailing and scheduling meetings
  • Scanning, faxing and filing client documents and other documents as required
  • General Administrative Duties
  • Updating CRM with new lead and new client’s info and respond to any incoming inquiries
  • Responding to reviews online
  • Assisting clients with their inquiries
  • Updating various Social Media Accounts.
  • Plan, execute and measure marketing and digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to be very organised with paperwork and other administrative duties
  • Assist with writing up and updating our policies and procedures
  • Communicating with clients and client intake procedures
  • Work in conjunction with our Accountants and clients
  • Such further and other marketing, reception and administrative assistant duties as may be required from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 - 5 years as of experience in a fast-paced environment as digital marketing and office assistant
  • Certificate, diploma or Degree
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
  • Quick Books, Sage and Tax Cycle Software knowledge is an asset
  • High level of Problem Solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Self-motivated when working on independent tasks
  • A willingness to act as an ambassador on behalf of the firm as the first point of contact for clients
  • Accounting firm experience is not required but will be considered as an asset
  • Professional, friendly and warm Demeanor
