Telecom analyst

Sees the definition of selection criteria as well as the choice of different hardware and software components for telecommunications environments based on current or future needs.
Plans, configures, supports and optimizes the software, equipment, etc., that make up the infrastructure.
Ensureavailability, performance, succession plans, maintenance contracts, licensing legalization, patch level and documentation for its industry.
Coordinates and supervises the interventions of different suppliers when dealing with hardware and software problems.
Develops and verifies, at regular intervals, the processes to restore the operational core of systems in the event of a crisis.
Provides technology monitoring and makes the necessary recommendations for the evolution of the technology for which it is responsible.
Ensures that methodology standards are followed and that processes and incidents are kept up to date according to the procedure.
Participates in discussions about the vision and evolution of the architecture in place with the company's other technology teams.
Actively participates in team meetings.
Performs all other related tasks.

Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.
Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure (systems administration, network, security, telephony, telecommunications, etc.) in a medium and large-scale environment.

Demonstrate expertise in the following technologies:
o Cisco and Juniper switches and switches
o Large-scale Extended Network Design and Support (WAN)
o Mechanisms of high availability and redundancy
o Wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba)
o Remote access SSL Juniper
o PaloAlto Firewall, nCircle IP360
o Airware Management Tools, Orion NPM/NCM, Cisco Prime

Having knowledge of Ms Project is an asset.
Have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office's software (Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint).
Be able to provide accurate estimates and be able to meet deadlines.
Have a very good knowledge of French and English, both verbally and in writing.
Be available to provide support on a scheduled schedule and travel outside occasionally.
