The Product Manager plays a pivotal role within the TELUS Business Solutions organization, managing and enhancing the Exclusive Partner Program wireless portfolio through opportunity identification, clear recommendations and execution of efficient pricing levers.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of a core team entrusted to manage mass market pricing working to seek out and optimize wireless rate-related pricing levers while integrating these into the wireless strategy within a highly competitive environment. Their strategic operations perspective will ensure that recommendations are rooted in meeting our business priorities and financial objectives.

Curious to understand the dynamics of the business, the candidate must be able to define business problems while seeking out clear paths to inform and arrive at actionable decisions.

Responsibilities:
Support the technical product implementation of wireless pricing tools
Identify and develop supporting feature rates, managing national feature portfolio
Constantly monitor business, lead implementation of efficiencies that drive out cost and support new revenue opportunities
Integrate wireless pricing solutions including addition of non-core products with other key priorities
Ensure the leadership team confidently understands recommendations
Monitor effectiveness of initiatives, swiftly managing failures and championing successful approaches
Foster strong working relationships with all operations, sales and channel teams
Executional excellence of programs and initiatives
Qualifications

Required Knowledge:
Understanding of pricing levers and their impacts
Strong business acumen and a drive for results
Understanding of Canadian telecom market

Required Skills & Abilities:
Proven hypothesis-driven approach to analyzing problems with an ability to zoom in and uncover insights that inform actionable decisions
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and cross functional teams
Disciplined execution, maintaining quality of deliverables across a number of varied tasks and responsibilities
Thrive on ambiguity and change

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
University degree in Marketing, Business Administration (HBA, Commerce, MBA), Economics, or Engineering

Specific background in the following areas is preferred:
Wireless telecommunications and/or technology-based industry experience
Working as a team on projects comprised of a wide range of integrated marketing activities
