As Project Coordinator, you will be part of a professional team responsible for managing installation projects and repairing sprinkler system in the greater Montreal area. You will hold a key position in the project team and be a central point of contact for the smooth running of the projects.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage office files and project binders
  • Monitor shipments and approval of plans, technical data sheets, coordination
  • Open new projects: internal systems and start of projects
  • Carry out administrative monitoring of projects
  • Assist the project manager with all of their duties and daily responsibilities
  • Transmit information to the project manager and the supervisor
  • Verify and follow-up of change orders
  • Contact suppliers for equipment prices
  • Plan material deliveries to construction sites, taking into account the progress of work with the support of the superintendent
  • Manage plans and addendas for quotations and projects
  • Facilitate the communication between the accounting department and the project management department
  • Enter service calls in accounting software
  • Manage received POs
  • Coordination of service department (aiding in scheduling, contacting clients, ensuring correct billing, matching of POs and bills)
  • Prepare manuals for the end of the building site
  • Communicate with general contractors, owners, project managers and architects to ensure the advancement and execution of the various stages of projects

EDUCATION

Secondary 5 completed, college training in administration or project management, an asset

EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND APTITUDES

· Experience in the construction industry, an asset

· Excellent in interpersonal skills and customer relations

· Ability to work in a team

· Ability to handle a high workload

· Attention to detail and high accuracy

· Highly effective organizational skills

· Ability to handle multiple files at the same time

· Flexibility, resourcefulness, a must

· Mastering priority management

· Be solution oriented

· Languages: completely bilingual - French and English, written and oral.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
