TGA, a Canadian Partner with Service-now.com, a San Diego based software development company, is seeking technical pre-sales implementation consultants to support the customization and implementation of our On Demand software solution with our growing customer base.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for all technical pre-sales support activities, including technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFP writing and consultative selling. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of proven software application sales experience and a demonstrable track record of referenceable account management. Experience in selling enterprise class solutions such as service desk, call-center, sales force automation, enterprise resource planning or other IT infrastructure management (monitoring and discovery) technologies a definite plus. Some travel will be required.
The ideal candidate will have in excess of five years of proven implementation experience with enterprise class solution providers, a background in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) business process, and working knowledge of IT operations. Past work experience with industry leading providers of help desk, IT service management, asset management, network and systems management or similar technologies a definite plus. (Experience with products like Remedy, HP Service Manager, Axios etc. would be a benefit)
This role is heavily dedicated to working directly with customer system administrators and will require frequent travel. The ideal candidate needs to have very strong communication skills, know how to set appropriate expectations with the customer and the company and be comfortable working in IT shops from 5 people to the Fortune 100.
