Position Summary:
Team Lead, Restaurant Support Planner will be responsible for leading and progressing the Restaurant Support Planning Team, developing relationships across Martin Brower (MB) Departments, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Lead and co-ordinate the day to day operations of the RSP Planning team to achieve all defined KPIs & outstanding service to the customer.
Lead or participate in cross functional workgroups
Develop relationships and communication channels across MB ROP / Supply Chain / Centralized Routing and McDonalds restaurants increasing the effectiveness of communication providing a more streamlined approach for our customer
Continuous development of the systems, tools, people and processes to support future targets and business plans
Ensure continuity on practices, message and service levels for RSP responsibilities on a National Level
Other duties and projects as assigned

System/Restaurant Support
Ensure smooth and timely transition of Restaurant orders from MBSync to JDE then KOMPASS, manage the integration of the restaurant’s orders into the operating system
Maintain high and consistent standard of restaurant communication on a National level
Maintain National Incident Logs of restaurant calls and concerns to determine root cause and proactively reduce incidents.
Manage escalation flow of the National 1-800 numbers through vacations, out of office and training.

Department Support
Utilize robust knowledge of High-Level Supply Chain / ROP and Central Routing connectivity to ensure the MB operating system is optimized.
Manage flow of MBSync Message board to ensure effectiveness without over use
Ensure timelines adhered to for planned SR uploads – and support unplanned as needed
QA testing support for JDE / MBSync / KOMPASS connectivity
Manage connectivity between Supply Chain and ROP through participation in cross functional meetings.

Process Optimization;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, tools, people and processes that support the overall Supply Chain functionality
Establish & maintain training & user guides
Support development and integration of the JDE and KOMPASS system
Identify opportunities & support UAT testing for new functions

People Development:
Day-to-day management of the RSP Planning Team developing a culture of continuous improvement.
Continues improvement of Training materials to support, improve and enhance team knowledge
Resource planning to support high demand periods
Lead, motivate, develop and manage team performance, establishing clear succession plans
Manage training, integration of new team members
Ensure team is integrated into both ROP and Supply Chain with knowledge and relationships creating a stronger bench and more agile MB Supply Chain team

Required Skills and Experience:
University or College Degree
3 years of experience within Supply Chain field
Experience leading and motivating a team
Advanced Microsoft Office
Practical system knowledge within JDE, JDA, Cognos and Power BI – definite asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player
Excellent organization and time management skills – ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads in a high-pressured environment
Ability to develop good cross functional, and collaborative working relationship
