Job Summary

WE is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Program Manager who has a strong background in relationship management and market expansion to join the Department of Program Implementation. This Program Manager will be responsible for working with a portfolio or schools/educators based in the United States. The incumbent will report directly to the Associate Director of Lead Operations and Strategy, WE Schools and will act as an ambassador for the organization.

The position is based out of WE's office in Toronto.

Responsibilities and Duties

Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of engaged schools who are actively involved in WE Schools programming and campaigns, with a focus on fundraising initiatives
Increase engagement in WE Schools in the Tri-state area and fill arena size youth empowerment event, WE Day
Serve as an advisor and liaison to schools/educators and provide them with resources and support to implement WE Charity fundraisers and awareness raisers
Create and execute a robust communication plan to deepen engagement within portfolio, with intentional touch point to increase engagement year over year
Projects Support

Support in various activations and projects with other WE Schools departments to deliver quality programming for WE Schools stakeholders
Coordinate and support with logistics for various activations, providing region insight and content suggestions to shape programming for specific events
Act as an ambassador for the organization at meetings, events, conferences and speaking engagements with the ability to answer questions/provide information about our international and domestic projects and impacts
Strategy and Communication

Implement plans to nurture relationships with schools and educators and to retain their involvement year over year, as well as deepening fundraising capacity and involvement by 10% per year
Collaborate and share tactics with other team members within WE Schools to ensure continuation of best practices
Qualifications and Skills

Possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Political Science, International Development/Relations or another relevant field
Two years of professional experience in marketing/sales is an asset
Experience with CRM software, marketing automation software, and/or online learning platform preferred
A self-starter with a high level of motivation and an ability to thrive with minimal supervision
Sales-oriented mindset, proven ability to meet targets, a customer-focused nature with built-in cultural awareness
Must be self-motivated, passionate, and have an entrepreneurial spirit
Proficient use of MS Office programs and experience with database management (preferably Salesforce)
Strong understanding of service learning, civic engagement and international social justice issues
Results focused with the ability to work independently to meet individual and team goals
Strong communication skills and networking abilities
Comfort and willingness to travel (approx. 10-15% of the time)
