As a member of the Canadian HR team, the incumbent will participate in the analysis,
administration and implementation of total compensation programs that are aligned to the business needs. The incumbent will act as a resource for the HR and management teams providing advice and recommendation on total compensation matters in partnership with the regional center of expertise (CoE).

Your responsibilities
Ensures sound administration of employee benefits programs such as group insurance, pension plans, short and long-term disability and wellness including vendor management and maintenance of key performance indicator.
Identify changes, propose improvements to our programs and processes in order to provide a better employee experience and increase the efficiency of administrative processes.
Go-to person for employees and vendors regarding pension plans and group insurance matters as well as for other local programs
Participate as a subject matter expert in special projects such as harmonization, outsourcing, standardization, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Coordinate the deployment of global programs such as the annual merit increase and the annual incentive campaign and the employee share acquisition plan.
Coordinate the renewal process for group insurance programs and the deployment of other local programs such as pay equity.
Supports and advises the HR Business partners on total compensation matters.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Management or Actuarial Science
5 to 7 years of experience in compensation, pension and benefits
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in French and English
Good analytical skills
High level Excel skills and overall ability to learn new systems and applications
Knowledge of SAP HR is an asset
Experience working in large matrix organization is an asset
