Roevin is currently looking to fill a contract Communications Advisor Job in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of quantitative market research experience and have worked extensively in Qualtrics Research XM. The Communications Advisor will use market research to support Brand Marketing and business objectives and will support strategic and tactical projects to further retail and wholesale marketing priorities (e.g., retail campaigns, branding, category support, etc.).
This is a long-term contract job opportunity with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Communications Advisor Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate retail campaigns and communications both pre and post launch
- Deliver key insights to continuously improve marketing and sales programs
- Participate in strategic projects, keeping voice of customer at the forefront
- Deliver key insights to support internal functions such as ASC, Maintenance, and Operations
- Uncovering actionable insights to guide business strategy and decisions
- Utilize Qualtrics market research software tools to author, program and execute research studies
- Manage research community health and engagement
- Assist in the development and evaluation of the annual retail campaign calendar
- Participate in product or concept innovation workshops as the research lead
Communications Advisor Job Qualifications:
- Ten years of quantitative market research experience preferred, qualitative experience an asset
- Commerce or MBA background or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates mastery of market research methodologies and practice
- Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with statistical software packages such as SPSS, R, or similar
- Proven understanding of market conditions and products and ability to recognize opportunities
- High degree of comfort in working with market research data, including statistical analysis
- Client service focus (this department strives for excellence in serving internal clients)
- Excellent communication and with the ability to filter and translate study results
- Excellent presentation skills
- Retail marketing, sales, communications, or loyalty experience an asset
- Previous experience with market research software is an asset
- MS Power BI an asset
