What you will do:
Regularly review partner engagement summary reports to ensure all unbilled fees are billed on a timely manner.
Work with engagement teams to ensure accuracy of bills and to collect any required information to finalize bills. Track all draft bills sent for review or approval to ensure reasonable turnaround
Ensure all relevant information is entered into applicable firm systems and appropriate records of pending and delivered bills are maintained.
Prepare, finalize and deliver client bills in accordance with client and firm billing terms and schedules, as applicable.
Ensure timely tracking of Partner account receivables to avoid late payment of invoices. Coordinate coding, approval and payment of vendor/third party invoices to capture relevant billable expenses.
Act as a point of contact for Partners, client service staff and admin assistants on all billing-related matters. Respond to and resolve billing queries or issues on a day-to-day basis.
Proactively recommend changes in billing and collections processes and procedures to make them more efficient and effective.
Fulfill SLA’s and metrics that are set to ensure tasks are addressed in a timely and quality manner, as applicable for the engagement team and clients that you serve.
Collaborate with peers on workload to ensure to ensure consistency and identification of issues, trends or areas that can be optimized.
What you bring to this role:
Combination of education/experience in data processing, business and administration.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong word processing skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat etc.
Excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and function well under stress, while prioritizing tasks and workload.
Resilient to work pressures and able to adapt to tight deadlines while multitasking and producing high quality work.
Service and detail oriented, takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Post-secondary education in Administration or Business an asset.
