Job Description

Major Duties:
ATS is focused on expanding our market leading products position and driving continued sustainable organizational growth. This Sales Manager role will join our Linear motion technologies (LMT) team where you will be responsible for promoting and supporting ATS’ SuperTrak products and services. We are looking for hard-working, passionate people with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us take on a global opportunity as we enable the world to build better automation.

In this position, you will be a key member of a close-knit team that is responsible for driving new opportunities to meet our revenue generation targets. As part of a customer-focused group, you will be an advocate for the customer, work as a liaison between the customer and LMT operations, and share market knowledge that will shape our lead generation campaigns and product development roadmap.

Responsibilities:
Build and manage a sales pipeline by working on new opportunities
A ‘hunter’ mentality with excellent intuition to find growth opportunities
Be motivated to create the success of the company’s goals through achieving individual sales quotas
Establish and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contracts
Develop account win strategies for opportunities leveraging strategic selling processes
Create and deliver customized sales presentations for internal and external customers, executives, and technical staff
Forecast sales activities & revenue attainment through strong sales acumen and using Salesforce CRM
Collect customer requirements and generate product and solutions recommendations
Assists in formulating departmental strategic plans by developing market requirements, competitor information, and recommending refinements to ATS products, platforms, and/or pricing strategies
Engage with a team of highly passionate and motivated individuals who are committed to creating world-class customer outcome

Qualifiications:
5 + years of sales, applications or business development experience
Candidate must have a working knowledge of advanced manufacturing technology such as robotics, automation, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing techniques; formal training is an asset
Technical proficiency/capability for using Salesforce and Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel approximately >25% of the time
An effective storyteller and presenter, where ideas, concepts, and pricing is communicated is a clear, concise manner suitable for technical audiences is essential
