Summer Student Clerk – Human Resources
Under the direction of the Manager of Human Resources, the Summer Student – Human Resources provides support for Human Resources activities and programs.
Support the development and improvement of Human Resources processes
Assist with updating New Hire package documents.
Update various Human Resources documents for review.
Check salary grid calculations and data entry ensure accuracy and format individual salary grids for various stakeholders.
Run and print various reports using various data sources.
Support the recruitment process that includes assisting with jobs postings and prepare documents as required.
Support special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent
Skills and Competencies:
Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) & Google Applications
Excellent interpersonal skills
Well organized and attentive to details
Effective: July 13 to September 4, 2020 with the possibility of working up to 14 hours in September
Hours: 28 to 35 hours per week (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Rate of Pay: $14.00 per hour
Location: Remote work location and/or Catholic Education Centre, 320 Bloomington Road West
