What’s the job?
The Test Automation Specialist will help define the test architecture, work with stakeholders to develop the test automation framework and implement automation testing for banking systems and corporate applications. The Specialist collaborates, reviews and recommends automating manual test scripts where automation can be mostly valuable and creating, implementing and maintaining the automated scripts. What you’ll get to do:
- Collaborate with QA Manager to define the test automation roadmap
- Determine appropriate automation test tool(s) for corporate and banking systems
- Build test automation frameworks and integrate them with the process/tools for existing test scripts
- Identify opportunities to utilize automated scripts for CI and releases
- Plan, create and maintain automated test scripts
- Conduct data-driven test approach in test automation
- Execute automated test scripts for functional, integration and regression testing
- Analyze test results and report status to all stakeholders
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree or a diploma in engineering/ computer field requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study and minimum 2-3 years of experience in test automation.
Strong understanding of and experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), testing concepts, methodologies and metrics.
Experience and knowledge with test automation concepts (data-driven framework, keyword driven framework etc.) and tools (like Selenium, Ranorex, and Katolin) is required.
Knowledge of testing tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, SoapUI) and experience with other tools (i.e. Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint).
Good understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodology of software development.
CCS related business knowledge (retail, commercial etc.) and product knowledge (i.e. T24, Digital, and Contact Center).
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Solid ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical script or integration issues
