Job Title: Artwork production associate

Department: Graphic Department

Reports To: Manager

Customary Work Days: Monday through Friday

Customary Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The Artwork production associate will conceptualize and create pre-production and production, large format printing files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. He or she will also perform the printing and post printing production process.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

· Produce art concepts

· Create print/cut files

· Work with customers and obtain their approval

· Support sales with art concepts

· Manage wide format printing pre-production, production, and post production process.

· Vectorized customer supplied artwork and concepts

· Balance creative and commercial priorities

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Assist team in any other way asked for the benefit of the company

Job Requirements

Post-secondary or technical education or equivalent field experience. Must efficiently create print/cut files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Good knowledge of wide format printing on flat and uneven (cars, boats, etc) surfaces.
  • Ability to translate customer ideas/preferences into art concepts.
  • Communicates effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback on quality of services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentational skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with administration, staff, in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capacity to assume responsibility for own professional development.
  • Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate customer issues to proper personnel.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
