Rempel Bros. Concrete, a division of Lehigh Hanson Materials Limited, is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Relief Dispatch. Our sales force focuses on building strong relationships in providing customers with solutions based on product expertise. Selling our products will require you to go beyond order taking and becoming a valued customer consultant.
Reporting to the CSR Supervisor, this position responds to customer enquiries, advises customers on technical merit of various mixes and products, receives and inputs concrete orders, determines schedule of deliveries, process order information and other duties as required.
What you’ll get to do:
Consult with, problem solve and advise clients regarding technical merits of various concrete mixes and value-added products;
Interact with customers on the telephone and satisfy their requests for information and changes in shipping requirements;
Input concrete orders, determine, and schedule delivery of concrete and negotiate timing with customers;
Support day-to-day operations in the dispatch office
On the job training will be provided
Who we are looking for:
Some Post-Secondary education is an asset
Experience in a high volume, customer service role is an asset
Experience interacting with customers on the phone is an asset
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Good telephone manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Location – We’re centrally located!
This position will be based out of our Shaughnessy office in South Vancouver. We’re centrally located within walking distance of the Canada line and also offer free private parking for our commuters.
