The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing basic physical inventory and systematic inventory control functions that relate to the daily needs of the business in order to support the production environment. The Inventory Control Clerk ensures the accuracy of inventory as well as the preservation of the condition of materials in storage, handling, and transportation.

Principal Accountabilities

50% Conduct Cycle Count - Performs and coordinates physical count of inventory and compare to actual count in SAP. Make sure to verify all min and max are correct. Communicate all inventory discrepancies to the Maintenance Planner for analysis and correction.

25% Check and receive all incoming parts in SAP making sure we received the correct items. Print and attach labels, stock/place all the parts on the proper bins/location.

15% Work with Maintenance Planner and internal stakeholder (Managers) to make sure all kitted parts are ready and staged for all scheduled work-orders.

10% Preparing and shipping all the return items and other outgoing items such blades for sharpening and parts for repair/rebuild.

Qualifications

Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb
  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Preferred
  • Inventory experience
  • Previous experience working at a plant
