Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 13.2 million people meet their affordable housing needs, with the Habitat for Humanity Halton Mississauga affiliate on pace to put up 75 families by 2020. Volunteerism in Habitat for Humanity is a fundamental operation driver for our organization and we are looking for a passionate, engaging candidate to help us reach our volunteering objectives!
Overview: The Coordinator of Volunteer Experience is responsible for volunteer retention, engagement, training, leadership, and identifying opportunities to grow volunteerism within the organization. To excel as a Coordinator of Volunteer Experience you’ll be engaged, planning and executing on volunteer retention objectives. You'll be acting in-field to help build our community of dedicated volunteers and encourage continual engagement.
You'll be assisting to develop the volunteer culture! Helping to establish a growing, engaged, and thriving volunteer community which supports all roles & operations across the affiliate. Volunteers give life to our organization and this role has a direct impact on the growth of volunteerism within Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga's expanding operations.
