Because of COVID19, all Central1 offices are currently closed to non-essential employees. This role will see you working remotely until our offices are reopened. The timeline to reopen is still under consideration, as are our future remote working policies.
As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our Legal group with daily activities and liaise with various departments at Central 1.
You bring exceptional verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills. You are motivated by being a primary point of contact and collaborating with a team to ensure efficiencies in day-to-day administrative tasks.
What you'll do:
Prepare, edit, and format various corporate and legal documents, correspondence, reports, forms and spreadsheets based on written and/or verbal instructions
Assist with external legal invoice procedures
Perform department clerical and administrative duties, including answering phones, electrical and paper filing, photocopying, scanning, collating reports, handling incoming mail, ordering office supplies, preparing employee expense reports, maintaining and monitoring contacts and calendars as required, and performing other administrative duties as requested
Who you are:
Graduate of an accredited LAA program or near completion of such LAA program
In case of a student requiring practicum arrangement as part of accredited LAA program completion, Central 1 will provide such practicum arrangement
Sound working knowledge of computers and relevant software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Workshare/blacklining software
Ablity to adapt to changing demands and follow instructions on administrative assignments
