We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Operations (Natural Resources Investments) to partner with key stakeholders and peers to support and engage with our powerful networks of people, opportunities, and investments. ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Operations (Natural Resources Investments), you’ll:
Assist with the preparation and review of capital calls; process capital calls and distributions in the cash management treasury system (Kyriba)
Review and ensure completeness of applicable legal documentation in connection with capital calls
Ensure security registers are up to date
Prepare cash forecasts
Finance, Compliance and Risk
Review financial statements and management reports of portfolio companies
Ensure information presented is in line with PSP accounting records
Suggest improvements with Partners
Assist with the development and improvement of internal policies and related documentation
Ensure the adherence to internal policies and procedures
Assist with the completion of operational due diligence
Monitor and ensure compliance of risk covenants of portfolio companies
Assist the team with the preparation of various investment documents and adhoc projects.
Assist with preparation and ensure accuracy of back-office reports
Participate in developing and preparing the annual budget and monthly variance reports, flag any discrepancies and use judgement to analyze the source of the problem and the impacts it may have on

Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy and organization
Highly organized and multitasking skills
Effective communications skills, both written and spoken
High attention to detail and rigorous approach to transaction monitoring
Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
Technical requirements (Excel, MS Office) and ability to quickly adapt to new IT software
CPA designation an asset
Bilingualism (French and English)
