Corporate Trainer – ERP

As our new Corporate Trainer – ERP, you will take on a critical training role as we embark on a major ERP upgrade and implementation project. Reporting to the ERP Change Management Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of training for stakeholders across our entire organization, with the principal goal of facilitating a smooth transition to Oracle, for all employee users.

Working closely in collaboration with both our in-house team, as well as external consultants from Oracle and Deloitte, you will first undertake a comprehensive, accurate assessment of stakeholders and their associated training needs. You will create an appropriate curriculum to address these needs, develop content jointly with Oracle and Deloitte consultants, execute training delivery, and conduct post-training assessments to ensure we are successfully meeting all training needs.

Success in this role will require excellent communication and organizational skills, high emotional intelligence, and a highly collaborative personality. The best in this role will have the flexibility to react to changing needs and feedback, and an ability to confidently work with diverse groups of people.

Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and assessing affected stakeholders and their related training needs
Developing training curriculum and content to address training needs, in collaboration with consultants from Oracle and Deloitte
Executing and overseeing delivery of ERP training for modules including procurement, human resources, financial management, supply chain management, reporting and analytics, enterprise performance, and human capital and change management
Conducting post-training assessments and gathering feedback on training delivery
Liaising regularly with Oracle and Deloitte to adjust training curriculum, content and delivery as required

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall success of the ERP implementation project. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our employees, and their ability to successfully transition to our new ERP system and new business processes. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the organization and its different business units and will gain a strong understanding of our entire operation. This is a one-year contract role offering an attractive salary commensurate with experience, as well as benefits. You’ll have the choice to work out of our Oakville office. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime as required to meet training needs. You’ll travel 1-3 days per week with the GTA and Niagara region.

Skills/Qualifications:
Significant experience in corporate training or consulting (5-7+ years)
Demonstrated success in planning and delivering training related to ERP implementation and/or financial or IT system rollouts
Experience designing and delivering training on new business processes
Experience with Oracle ERP
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required
Degree or diploma in business administration, finance, enterprise systems, or related discipline and/or related certifications
