NOC Job Title: Administrative Secretary
Mackenzie Counselling Services is currently accepting applications for a full time Administrative Assistant. This is a temporary, maternity leave replacement position. This position reports to the Executive Director. This position supervises clerical staff and participates in their recruitment and selection, participates in the coordination of administrative and clerical work in an office, and performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties as required. Use of a personal vehicle is minimal.
This position is a temporary, full time position (32.5 hours/week). Hours may be subject to change, depending on contract requirements.
Qualifications required are:
Grade 12, plus
Completion of a program of up to one (1) year certification in business or office administration, or has completed/is working towards one (1) year Business Technology Program.
Four (4) years recent related experience, including one (1) year supervisory experience.
Or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Understands and has the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook/email required.
Criminal Record Check for vulnerable populations.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Valid Driver's License.
