SaleSpider Media is seeking a proven, tactical and strategic Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Representatives who are tasked with growing our footprint in the B2B and Healthcare industries.

The Sales Manager will lead a primarily Inside Sales team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. The Sales Manager will be a senior executive and key manager charged with recruiting and retaining sales representatives, having the team generatenew sales opportunities, and push the opportunities through a sales funnel until agreements are signed. The Sales Manager will be supported with experienced enterprise sales, account support staff, and operations executives.

The Sales Manager will spend the first 4-6 months at SaleSpider Media learning the Sales Process and Inventory in an active sales role before building the sales team and assuming more responsibility. Afterwards, the Sales Manager will recruit, train, and manage a team composed of approximately 3-5 Sales Representatives. The Sales Manager will work in Inside Sales 3 to 4 days a week and travel 2-3 days a month for face-to-face meetings.

The Sales Manager'sDay-to-Day

Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings
Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Sales Representatives on the sales process
Work on different lead generation strategies to ensure a healthy volume of opportunities
Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach on strategies to create pipeline and drive new closed deals
Report on sales activity, productivity and forecast to senior management
Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and track the results

About The Sales Manager Candidate

A hunter
5+ years of sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 2+ years sales management experience.
Digital Media, Media, orSoftware sales and sales management experience are assets
Proven record of sales success in a similar environment
Successful track record in a high-volume sales environment
Highly-organized and able to prioritize tasks for the team
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Thrive in a very fast-paced environment
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree
