Job Title: Product Manager (Strategic Marketing Manager) (Multiple Roles Available)

1) Brand Strategy and Management
Lead the development and execution of customer and patient centric marketing plans and programs for assigned product(s) and evaluate and adjust implementation as needed
Demonstrate curiosity and the ability to question and challenge to drive innovation in the development and execution of marketing plans
Seek to understand market trends, business opportunities and the performance of assigned products including regional opportunities trends gaps and competitor performance
Investigate opportunities to expand market size by networking and developing contacts beyond the traditional customer base as appropriate by brand
2) Cross-functional collaboration
Motivate and inspire cross functional head office and field teams to optimize brand performance and effectively deliver on customer and patient needs
Actively develop a network across Roche Canada and global organization within and across brands
Effectively coach and mentor colleagues within marketing division
Act as leader and team player on Canadian and global teams as required
3) Customer Focus
Develop ongoing insights of plans from interactions with key customers and ensure integration into brand strategy
Establish strong relationships and presence with National and Regional Therapeutic Area Experts working with colleagues in the Field Chapter
Collaborate with squad to integrate customer and patient centric perspective into marketing plans and activities
Develop strong understanding of path to purchase and patient journey and how they influence marketing plans and activities
Education / Skills/ Knowledge / Experience Desired:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferable in Science or Business
5+ years of work experience, including:
Demonstrated success as a Product Manager and several related pharmaceutical positions including: Sales Manager, Sales Training, Medical Manager, Market Research Manager and Sales Representative
Experience in competitive landscapes is strongly preferred
Proficient in the development and execution of marketing strategy, and exposure to the various levels of brand cycle including product launch
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and networked environment
Track record of taking risks and questioning and challenging of the status quo
Proven ability of building trust and empowering cross-functional teams
Pragmatic approach and leadership style
