The F&B Supervisor plays a vital role in establishing a positive experience for our guests while simultaneously behind the scenes guides the Food & Beverage operations to run smoothly. The F&B Supervisor is the main support to the Food & Beverage Managers (Mantle’s Restaurant & Lounge / Morrisey’s Public House / Banquets) and is positioned to gain exemplary understanding of F&B operations. This knowledge will provide strength to the successful candidates’ professional experience, opening up opportunities of advancement internally and externally throughout the Tourism / Hospitality industry.


Assist the Managers in overseeing the Food & Beverage Outlets
Provide ongoing operational evaluations of service
Implement operational procedures in line with company mission and values.
Take ownership of various projects relating to increasing revenues, improving the product and Incentive programs for outlets team
Ensure operational Health and Safety regulations are adhered to by all staff members on a daily basis and remediated immediately if necessary
Determine daily operational work schedules and monitor ongoing performance
Conduct payroll / daily sales and labour
Assist with inventory controls and maintaining of supplies
Assist with the entire F&B Department operations as business volumes may dictate

Guest Experience:
Determine and ensure exceptional service delivery of all Food & Beverage services to the guest while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Effectively resolve guest complaints ensuring the guests’ needs are exceeded
Manage the use of facilities for large groups as business demands

Team Commitment / Leadership:
Provide coaching and leadership to the Food & Beverage Outlets team members
Assist in the training of all department staff members

Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a hotel environment
Strong knowledge and understanding of Food and Beverage operations
Solid wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge, with upselling skills
Must have Serving it Right certificate
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities
A passion for guest service and the proven ability for consistently anticipating guest needs
Strong working knowledge of the Micros POS system
Hands-on, operational management style
Team player and a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and effectively as required
Talent to motivate and support a team in a multi-tasked environment, creating an innovative culture
Ability to take on projects and see them through to completion
Professional, well organized, with excellent attention to detail
Must be flexible to work as business levels dictate (shift work)
Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
