The ideal candidate is passionate about product development, solution design, testing and release, works efficiently and is quick in turn around, communicates both up and down the organization, and is results-oriented with a strong bias for action. This individual is hands on with experience in software development, solution design and efficient in engineering planning and execution. Excellent communication and building strong cross-functional relationships both internally and externally are key. This individual will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing teams and senior stakeholders inside the company.
Roles & Responsibilities
Translate company objective into tactical development plans and technology operations.
Needs to be hands on technical to contribute Mozzaz’s technical platforms spanning mobile, integration and Cloud stacks.
Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for the engineering teams, ensuring that resources are appropriately utilized, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with organizational metrics and business plans.
To understand product architecture and how various team’s interactions’ impact it. To guide the engineering team for architecture and design suggestion.
Engage with Product managers, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing and Executives to ensure collaboration across the organization and also to communicate engineering status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making.
Provide overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development.
Lead, mentor and coach the engineering team in the adoption and use of best practices such as Agile development, Automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
Establish standards of performance and monitor conformance for staff and vendors.
Establish and deploy standards and best practices in the areas of project planning, project management, quality management and automation, application lifecycle management, code reviews, coding conventions and documentation standards.
Help Mozzaz customers on engineering and support matters and assist the pre-sales process, including developing technical responses to RFPs and meeting with potential customers.
Manage outsourced delivery and ensuring utilization of the resources and quality delivery.
Closely work with client service and support quick resolution of customer issues and ensure such issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
About Your Qualifications
8-10 years of Product Development, Testing experience out of which 2-3 years in Lead and Managerial role
Strong understanding and experience in Mobile Application Development (Hybrid & Native), Azure, .Net and Angular technology stack
Experience in DevOps and automation is expected
Demonstrated ability to plan, manage scope and pragmatic timelines
Bachelors or Master’s in computer science or equivalent experience
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead across multiple teams with authority
Comfortable with learning new technology and product; Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive with ambiguity and partial information
Nice to Have:
Experience in Healthcare domain is a plus but not mandatory
Experience in HL7, FHIR etc. will be good.
