Do you love working independently while being part of a connected and collaborative team? We are building our carpentry team! Our Carpenters are involved in campus inspections, assessing problems, determining solutions and ensuring appropriate repairs are completed in compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations. You will also be responsible for the design, cost estimations, construction, repairs and maintenance of campus facilities and structures. If playing this key role in all aspects of routine and planned carpentry work is a match for what you are looking for, we would love to see your application. Your Opportunity:
These are full-time positions with pension and benefits. These are Monday to Friday positions; however, based on operational needs or events, occasional flexibility will be required, including weekends, evenings, and overtime.
Your Certificates and Experience:
· Successful completion of a Journeyman Certificate as a Carpenter or similar building trade is considered an asset
· Completion of post-secondary training in a related trade or technical area and first aid certification would be considered an asset
· Valid BC Driver’s License
