The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the production manager in running all production activities; including prioritising, scheduling and coordinating activities amongst various groups. This role works in conjunction with all departments to create and sustain a positive, high energy continuous improvement environment while meeting customer schedules and specifications.
The successful candidate will hold a college degree in mechanical engineering or related field. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a Production Management role with progressively increasing level of responsibility. The candidate will have the ability to understand manufacturing processes, material specifications, costing, and shop floor terminology. In addition to excellent written and verbal English, the candidate will be proficient in MS Office and will have previously used an ERP.
