Job title: Sales Representative

Location: Ontario, ideally located in Toronto

The EnsembleIQ Retail Group is looking for an experienced, energetic Sales Representative. You will be a key member of our growing team, focused on selling innovative print and digital advertising and developing custom content campaigns that drive revenue for our clients. This is a great full-time opportunity for someone interested in a fun, fast-paced and challenging Sales environment.

About the role:

  • Aggressively prospect, develop and close leads through cold calling, social media, referrals, inbound leads, events, and mining our existing CRM tool
  • Work directly with businesses to discuss and understand their needs and then develop customized solutions to drive leads to their business leveraging a suite of digital media and custom content solutions
  • Own entire sales process from prospecting to completion of the sale
  • Support Publisher with proposal development and client follow-up for leads he/she has identified
  • Create business strategy for penetrating new targets and accurately forecasting pipeline each week
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Travel to events with Editor In Chief / Publisher to help represent the Retail Group and facilitate meetings and follow-ups.

About you:

  • 2+ years of sales experience with proven sales results in digital media, consulting, advertising, or marketing solutions.
  • Strong business development focus, willing to prospect and uncover new potential digital advertisers and drive to develop opportunities from prospect level to deal close
  • Proven success prospecting and developing sales by telephone
  • Strong executive presence, high energy, and professional maturity with a bias toward action
  • Outstanding organizational skills; diligence around client follow-through, meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of content, print and digital media production practices and tools
  • CPG, retail expertise with fluency in the retail ecosystem (ideal but not required)
  • Agile, able to think spontaneously and respond quickly. Strategic thinker. Naturally curious.
  • Prior experience in an entrepreneurial environmen
  • Salesforce fluency and expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
