We currently have the following positions available:

  • Part Time Weekend Days (10am-6pm)*

Mandatory criteria:

  • Successfully pass advanced MCFD screening
  • Ability to work legally in Canada
  • Minimum Class 5 Unrestricted Driver’s license
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to follow protocol

Additional assets:

  • Post-secondary studies in humanities/CSW/EA program
  • Prior experience working with individuals who have the potential to become aggressive
  • Prior experience with dispensing medications and providing personal care
  • Sign language
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Who we are:

  • Community Living Agency in Victoria BC serving children & youth with special needs and adults with developmental disabilities
  • We have 12 group homes and multiple day program/outreach programs
  • We serve a mostly ambulatory population with an average age of 30
  • We’ve been supporting individuals in the community for more than 20 years
  • We focus on community inclusion, activities, and supporting resident’s choices in order to assist them to live their best lives

What we are offering:

  • Permanent part time positions & casual work available
  • Wages (HEU) starting at $19.45 per hour (plus 10.2% in lieu of benefits for casuals) with wage advancement per the HEU Grid ($22.65 per hour)
