Reports to Project Manager and Project Controls Manager
This Project Controller position will be responsible for all general Project Controls functions pertaining to a specific project. Included in these duties: cost control, scheduling, progressing, change management, reporting, and other general business services functions as required. With the support of the Project Controls Lead, the successful candidate will be help create the WBS, CBS, cost codes, and reports for the project. This position is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, updating, and timely submission of all reports, including: progress curves, schedules, construction narratives, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
The individual needs to be well versed in the various software packages required to do detailed cost reporting. This reporting includes the alignment of the ERP system to the actual project estimate and costs and the ability to identify potential project cost risks, with effective analysis and communication of those risks. This position will be working closely with Project Management, other Project Controls personnel, and the Project Administrator to complete all tasks. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to assist with the Project Administration tasks from time to time (i.e. days off coverage).
This is a field-based position and may be located throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
