Core Functions:

The Finance Manager is responsible to:

  • Manage the monthly financial statement preparation and month end close process.
  • Prepare and review of audit working papers and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts and perform variance analysis on differences.
  • Run payroll for the organization and reconcile commission on a monthly basis.
  • Supervise and assist a finance team and Administrative staff.
  • Ensure that internal controls are properly in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Other financial reports and projects as required by the ownership team.
  • Liaison with auditors to ensure annual reporting is carried out.
  • Prepare and Conduct Bi-yearly Inventory count.
  • File PST and GST return on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Be the right-hand person for the ownership team.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years Finance experience
  • Posses a post secondary degree or diploma in Business or Finance
  • Direct communication style
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Results oriented
  • Outstanding English communication skills- ability to speak clearly and powerfully
  • Track record of success
