is a busy office seeking a Full Time Employee to be an:

Administrative Assistant/Strata Manager who is Professional, Positive, and Customer Service Oriented.

As an Administrative Assistant you would help the designated contact person(s) perform their daily tasks.

As a Licensed Strata Manager you would be the designated contact person in our team to assist the strata council(s) in daily operations.

Our team works together to:

- handle strata paperwork (filing, processing incoming/outgoing correspondence and emails, etc),

- prepare for strata council and general meetings,

- administer the meeting minutes and distribution of,

- prepare monthly financials statements,

- prepare annual budgets and financial statements,

- collect fees owing to the strata corporation,

- pay the strata’s approved bills,

- hire qualified services as directed by council (landscapers, plumbers, insurance etc.),

- prepare Forms and distribute requested documents

The right candidate will:
- have their own reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the Okanagan Valley for site visits and/or meetings.
- be bondable, and willing to submit a criminal record check for acceptance.
- have some experience in office work (typing, letters, emails, filing, copying, scanning, etc).

- be able to accommodate some evenings and weekends to attend meetings.

- be able to join in the emergency after hours phone/pager rotations.

- be able to multitask and prioritize proficiently.

- have excellent communication skills.
- have a good working knowledge of computer programs such as word, excel, and email protocols.
- be COVID responsible.

- be able to work on your own and in a team environment

- be willing and able to complete the education requirement to become licensed as a strata property agent in BC {already holding a valid BC Strata Property Manager License is a huge asset}.

Wage to Start: $17-18/hr (Dependent on experience & Licensing). After a successful probation term, extended health may be available.
