You'll be accountable for driving and leading the activities required for managing enterprise supplier governance and the oversight of key assigned IT Suppliers.

You'll manage contract execution processes (RFIs/RFPs, new MSAs/SOWs, renewals, amendments and contract change requests), including interfacing with the Business teams and the vendors in negotiating and executing key IT contracts.

You'll need to build and maintain a strong working relationship with Finance, Legal and various Business Units for validation of proposals and to ensure contract obligations are met in these areas. Interactions will occur with all levels of management up to senior Executive levels, numerous stakeholders and various business units within Interac.

You'll proactively serve as a "trusted advisor," and will function as a key point of contact for Interac stakeholders.

Developing strategic partnerships and agreements vendors that provide value to Interac.
Managing the supplier or partner relationships; contract negotiations; supplier service level management; contractual compliance and supplier terminations or renewals.
Ensuring business process interactions between Interac and the service provider is effective and efficient.
Managing contract governance and the corresponding service level attainment for services received from a strategic IT partner.
Implementing governance framework and establishing cost-effective and efficient management of the supplier relationship.
Ensuring consistent delivery of highly available and high-quality services for Interac through the creation, monitoring and enforcement of Service Level Agreements and contractual performance objectives.
Ensuring Interac receives technology services contracted for in a timely, cost effective, quality manner.
Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of value-add services provided by the Supplier.
Overseeing the supplier relationship in the context of compliance requirements.
Managing the risk of the relationship with the vendor, conducting on-going due diligence to comply with regulatory requirements.
Ensuring alignment with Interac's Enterprise Risk Management program and policies.
Centre of Excellence for IT sourcing – working with Product business units to identify additional opportunities to benefit from sourced IT Supplier relationships.
Managing sourcing model for optimum service delivery, quality and cost.
Maintaining a general knowledge of business controls, marketplace pricing and sourcing strategies.
Providing consultation to Executives relative to Supplier proposals, prospective deals or existing contracts.
Performing all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management and negotiations.
Reviewing current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.
Reviewing and analyzing all vendors, supply, and price options:
Managing the overall vendor performance including Contract, Performance, Financial and Relationship
Ensuring continuously improving services for Interac through the monitoring and enforcement of Service Level Agreements and contractual performance objectives
Accountable for managing Vendor governance with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying opportunities for vendors to partner with Interac to accelerate and achieve strategic priorities

Who are you?

You have 7+ years of contract or vendor management experience in the financial services industry.
You have a post-secondary degree in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science or Business) or equivalent work experience.
You have experience in working with a multi-sourced IT environment.
You have proven experience with delivery of IT services to expected service levels.
You have a proven ability to develop, maintain and improve the relationship with internal clients related to delivery of supplier services.
You have the ability to influence (up, down and across), and strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
You are comfortable with reading contracts in relation to cost modelling and SLA's and have the ability to work cross functionally.
You have demonstrated in-depth knowledge of IT Sourcing Processes along with the ability to identify and communicate operation risk concerns across the organization.
You have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
You have an understanding of principles of managing a sourced service or demonstrated experience in the management of large complex sourced contracts.
