Overview:
Here at Prodigy, we are working hard to achieve our mission of helping every child in the world to LOVE learning. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a genuine interest in the North American SaaS ecosystem, and is excited to help build Prodigy’s financial backbone. In this role, your mission will be to support and accelerate Prodigy’s growth by measuring key business performance metrics, preparing actionable insights, and assisting with capital markets activities.

Your Impact:
Work with different departments to understand and establish metrics/KPIs that align with strategic business objectives
Develop and maintain executive-level reporting, board/external investors reporting, and contribute to pitch decks for fundraising activities
Be the bridge between Finance and Data teams to report on and forecast the company’s revenue
Deep dive into the company’s BI tools to drive actionable insights for financial reporting, forecasting, and execution of company’s strategic initiatives
Assist with industry comparative analysis and benchmarking on key SaaS metrics

Who You Are:
Post-Secondary education in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent
2-5 years of FP&A/business analytics experience, in a SaaS environment
Impeccable analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate with all levels within the company, including senior management
Extensive experience working in BI tools (such as Sisense Periscope and their connection with data warehouse) specifically
Proven ability to work with and synthesize data sets from various internal and external sources in an organized and tactical way
Proven ability to understand the key output of data sets that can be used for financial modelling and decision-making
Proven ability to drive and present actionable insights from a large amount of raw data sets
Advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets
Demonstrated knowledge in building visualizations, dashboards, and maintaining key metrics/KPIs
Working knowledge in financial reporting and planning systems (i.e. Netsuite, Intact)
Comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points For:
Completion of, or progress towards professional designations/degrees (e.g. CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent)
Experience in Ed Tech
Business partnering experience on a Finance, Operations, or Systems team
Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g. NetSuite)
SQL knowledge
Experienced with building and maintaining financial models
Prior experience / involvement in capital markets activities
