Job Summary

Reporting to Manager, Work Management Process and Data, the Coordinator, Work Process will develop maintenance work process maps, integrate cross-functional processes, develop process standards, and provide requirements to Training and Development for the deployment of these processes to the organization.

Accountabilities

Implement and recommend improvements on the business plan to drive consistency and improvements within the maintenance work processes. Update existing work flows and improve the process mapping standards that govern their development.
Make recommendations for increasing efficiency and improving alignment within cross-functional maintenance work process.
Accountable to ensure all physical asset management work processes are in place and consistent with Sherritt's objectives to deliver zero harm to employees, environment, and neighboring communities.
Guide stakeholders to make sure all work management processes are aligned and complement related work processes in Asset Management, Operations, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Finance to drive consistency of work and minimize process conflict across the organization.
Use and maintain communications and education plan for the updated integrated work processes across all departments – Asset Management, Operations, SCM, Finance, and IT.
Review, recommend updates, and continually look to optimize business work processes and data to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective work management activities.
Recommend and develop process performance measures to align the organization in achieving integrated work management improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Degree or diploma in a technical or related business discipline.
Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and turnaround work activities and processes. MMP or equivalent maintenance management certification is desirable
Green belt or black belt certification is desirable
Experience in changing or optimizing maintenance or other industrial work management processes, and knowledge of work management information systems and how they are used.
Must be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, EAM (CMMS), and SharePoint.
Change management and high level influencing skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills optimization.
