Cashier
As a Cashier, you will play an important role in Customer Service by providing customers with fast and
friendly service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure every item is scanned correctly
- Weigh produce and bulk foods
- Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every
customer; Redeem coupons
- Keep paperwork organized and neat
- Call for packers and price checks with the overhead page system
- Pack purchases to ensure safe transport and separate by frozen, meat, produce and grocery
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Answer customer questions and ensure customer has a positive shopping experience
- Be aware of store promotions
Qualifications:
- Excellent Customer Service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Available to work varying shifts
