Product Coordinator – Specialty Items

In conjunction with fast paced regular responsibilities, this position will coordinate and manage merchandising programs with our retailers. The Product Coordinator – Specialty Items will oversee the merchandising services that we offer primarily in Wal-mart, but also a few other retailers. The focus of this role is to facilitate merchandising tasks, inventory management and communications regarding such merchandising programs.

Permanent Full-time Position is available Dec 2, 2019

Job responsibilities

  • Communication
  • Understand, documenting and communicate the details of each product line and/ or merchandising program
  • Communicate with all vendors that we deliver and merchandise goods for
  • Communicate incoming orders of goods to each Service Agent
  • Make on-site visits to understand in-field requirement of each program

  • Administrative
  • Understanding how to use the internal system (Metro OTG)
  • Prepare and communicate initial orders to stores for new programs
  • Oversee the weekly auto-reorder process for programs
  • Ensure a sufficient level of inventory is ordered and manage inventory levels in the warehouses
  • Set up all tasks in Metro OTG that corresponds to each program
  • Supply inventory and sales reports as needed
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices for our vendors & customers
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll reports

Job Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access & Outlook
  • Word processing 70 WPM
  • Excellent communication skills in English, other languages are an asset
  • The ability to multi-task & analyze large sets of data
  • Able to thrive in fast pace environment
  • Proven critical thinking skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience directing/ coordinating projects
  • Exhibits confidence and is self reliant
